The purpose of the Chai Wine Tasting's Flight page is to overview the potential flight for your own spirits (and no, not ghosts) tasting party! The hardest part is selecting a flight theme for the night however, we make it alittle easier for you! We have created customized flights each containing six different spirits of a particular theme. Every spirit flight also comes the option for an accompaniment of snacks for a small additional charge to be enjoyed during your adventure. Please choose from one of our following flight options and click on the Contact Me link to email me your choice.

Texas...our Texas!

Go Local, right?! It turns out that there are a number of Texans who took their passion for drinking booze and turned it into a distillery. All of the spirits on this flight are made right here in the great state of Texas.

Scotch Whisky

I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Scotch is an amazing spirit, and one of the most intriquing things about scotch are the differences that can be smelt and tasted between them. They are also all produced on an island the same size as South Carolina! The six regions that produce Scotch are Speyside, Lowland, Highland, Islay, Campbeltown, and the Islands. Therefore, this flight has a scotch from each region, and by the end we will be singing. I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch.

Old World Style

Something us Americans rarely ever do, but Europeans love, is drink apéritifs or digestifs. Apéritifs are served before the meal to stimulate the appetite while digestifs are served after the meal to aid in digestion. This flight contains three apéritifs and three disgestifs. While we might not be eating a full meal, you will be opening up your stomach to a whole new world of delicious!

One Tequila, two tequila, three tequila, four!?

Tequila? And in a voluntarily flight?! You have got to be kidding me?! Immediately, you start thinking of college parties, bad decisions, hangovers, and cheap tequila bottles with labels like Los Dos Rios or Juarez de Dorado. Boy have things changed since those days. Trust me there are tons of great tequilas and mezcals out there that are just waiting to change your mind...so give them a chance!

Yo, Ho, Ho, and a bottle of Rum!

Rum! The word rum conjures up images of spiced, dark colored rum loved by swashbuckling pirates everywhere, right? Hmm...well not quite. In this flight, you will taste six different rums that display a wonderful array of flavors, tastes, aromas, and colors from several regions of the world, and maybe after your flight you will realize that rum just isn't for pirates anymore.

You're so Radical! In fact, you're Fanatical!

The spirit world is filled with tons of unique and positively odd little liquors because alcohol can be flavored and produced with just about any organic material. So if you are curious about the radical world of spirits...this flight is for you.

Bourbon Cowboy

Bourbon is one of the first true American spirits to be distilled in the United States. Bourbon has to be produced in America as well as barrel-aged. Bourbon is distilled primarily from corn with alittle rye, wheat, and malted barley added. This flight showcases the immense differences between bourbons made right here in the United States.

Whisky, Whiskey, or Bourbon? Oh, my!

I absolutely love this spirit flight! This flight includes Scotch whisky, Irish whiskey, and American bourbon. The best part about this flight is deciding which one you like best...so come on, found out, and let the arguments begin!
